Board & Commission Vacancies

THE COMMISSIONERS OF ST. MICHAELS PUBLIC NOTICE

The Commissioners of St. Michaels are accepting letters of interest and resumes from individuals wishing to serve on the St. Michaels Planning Commission for two vacancies:

  • (1) year term ending December 31, 2025
  • (2) year term ending December 31, 2026

 Required submittal information include the following two documents:

  1. A current resume;
  2. A letter of interest to include;
  • Name of board/commission for which you are applying
  • Your qualifications for this position
  • Why you wish to serve
  • What you hope to accomplish during your term

Appointments will be considered by the Commissioners. The letter and resume should be submitted via e-mail, regular mail, or hand delivered for receipt no later than Friday May 9th.

The duties of powers of the Planning Commission are defined in accordance with Maryland Annotated Code, Land Use Division, Title 2 (Planning Commission), there is a Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission consists of five members appointed by the Commissioners for a term of 5 years.
