The Commissioners of St. Michaels are accepting letters of interest and resumes from individuals wishing to serve on the following Boards or Commissions for terms starting January 1, 2026:
St. Michaels Board of Zoning Appeals
St. Michaels Ethics Committee
St. Michaels Historic District Commission
St. Michaels Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
St. Michaels Planning Commission
St. Michaels Waterways Management Advisory Board
Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission
St. Michaels Tourism Advisory Board
Duties, responsibilities, and requirements for board members are set forth in Chapter 98 of the Town Code, which can be accessed on the Town’s website at www.stmichaelsmd.gov.
Required submittal information include the following two documents:
A current resume;
A letter of interest to include;
Name of board/commission for which you are applying
Your qualifications for this position
Why you wish to serve
What you hope to accomplish during your term
Appointments will be considered by the Commissioners during the December 10th meeting. The letter and resume should be submitted via e-mail, regular mail, or hand delivered for receipt no later than Monday, December 1, 2025 by 4:30pm to:
