Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission followed by a Closed Session

Join us for the St. Michaels Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission meeting held on Thursday evenings at 4:00pm. Unless notice is given of an alternative venue, all meetings will be held at the Boy Scout Cabin, located at 407 St. Mary’s Square. Please be advised that, as of November 2025, the monthly CC/SLRC meetings will commence at 4:00 PM. Kindly adjust your schedules.

At the end of the Open Session the CC/SLRC will vote to go into a Closed Session following the regular meeting, pursuant to Maryland Code, State Government Article, under the Open Meetings Act 3-305(b): (1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals. The Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission (CC/SLRC) Closed Session Meeting is not open to the public.

PUBLIC COMMENT: In accordance with the Town of St. Michaels meeting rules and procedures, public comments will be received one person at a time at the beginning and end of each meeting. The “Comments from the Public” portion of the Commission agenda shall have a limited time period as determined by the Chair. To be recognized, a member of the public should raise his or her hand and wait to be recognized by the Chair. Comments and questions should be kept brief and to the point, and be directed to the Chair.
