Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Property Maintenance for the Town of St. Michaels

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The Town of St. Michaels, located in beautiful Talbot County, Maryland, is seeking proposals from qualified firms/individuals to provide on call property maintenance for the Town of St. Michaels.  

Scope of Work: 

The Scope of Work consists of on call property maintenance including cutting lawns and fields, hedge and tree trimming, removal of trash and debris. Minor trash and debris shall be removed prior to any cutting activity. Properties with excessive trash and debris may be cleaned up on a per ton basis. Upon notice, the requested work is to be completed within 48 hours. Property will be those belonging to citizens of the Town of St. Michaels who after receiving a notice of correction have failed to comply and the properties continue to have violations.

Instructions, required bid forms and specifications may be obtained in person, on the Town's website, or by mail from the Town of St. Michaels 201 Boundary Lane, St. Michaels, MD 21663. 

Submission Instructions and Date:

Sealed Bids for this work shall be accepted by the Town of St. Michaels, 201 Boundary Lane, St. Michaels, MD 21663 until 2:00 P.M. local time on Friday January 9, 2026, at which time they shall be opened and read aloud. Any bids received after that time will not be accepted. All proposals shall be submitted in sealed, plainly marked envelopes supplied by respondents. Envelopes shall clearly state Project Title, Bid Date and Time and Name of Respondent.
