INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The Town of St. Michaels is soliciting sealed bids from qualified marine contractors for the removal and disposal of an existing dilapidated pier structure and all associated pilings within San Domingo Creek. The project also includes construction of a new commercial-size wood pier, walkway, and platform. The project is located on Town-owned property at 201 Boundary Lane, St. Michaels, Maryland, and will be part of the overall San Domingo Creek Park development project.
The Town is accepting sealed bids and proposals until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the St. Michaels Town Office, PO Box 206, 201 Boundary Lane, St. Michaels, MD. At 2:00 p.m., the bids and proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids and proposals must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Confidential: Town of St. Michaels Bid No. PZ 26-03 - Fishing & Pedestrian Pier IFB” to Steve Ball, Town Planner.

All questions must be submitted no later than 10:00 a.m. on October 8, 2026. Responses to submitted questions, along with any clarifications or modifications to this IFB, will be issued in the form of written addenda and posted in the Supporting Documents section associated with this solicitation. It is the responsibility of all prospective proposers to review the Supporting Documents section for any addenda prior to submitting a proposal. Addenda issued for this IFB shall become part of the solicitation and will be binding on all proposers.
The Commissioners of St. Michaels reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
