The Town of St. Michaels will be participating in the 2026 Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) Mosquito Control Program. Through this participation, the community agrees to allow access by Maryland Department of Agriculture personnel to conduct mosquito control activities.

The goal of this integrated pest management program is to develop and implement effective strategies that:

     - Protect public health
     - Safeguard pets and livestock
     - Preserve environmental quality
     - Enhance the overall quality of life for residents and visitors

For detailed information about the program and associated science and methodology, please visit the State’s official Mosquito Control webpage on the Maryland Department of Agriculture website. Residents may also contact Justin Delcourt, Talbot County Supervisor, MDA Mosquito Control Section, directly at 443-534-6546 with specific questions.

We encourage all residents to review the attached Mosquito Control – General Policies document provided by MDA.
